Thank you for visiting this website. All my scientific papers can be found here (click on 'publications' in the mainmenu to find the .pdf's). However, the main motivation behind this website is my desire to communicate the results of my research to people without a scientific background. Therefore, simplified versions of my scientific papers can be found in the 'Communicating Science' section.

Furthermore, the 'Geophotography' section contains photographs of geological features (fossils, folds, minerals) that I took over the years. I hope the beauty of those pictures will make some viewers want to know more about geology
